The Defensive Driving Class

The fees are set by Georgia Law for point related reasons but are not set insurance reduction.  The Defensive Driving Class is not a punitive activity, rather it is educational, designed to define vehicle crash causation, improve driver behavior, and help drivers avoid future traffic citations, reduce vehicle crash involvement, reduce injuries, fatalities and property damage.  Our class schedule is posted on our other website, simply click on it and it will take you straight to it: www.northgaduischool.com

• Court Ordered Purposes   $75.00
• Insurance Reduction   $25.00

Georgia Law requires us to charge $75.00 for point related purposes, but we can charge less for Insurance Reduction so we do.

The Risk Reduction (DUI) Class

The fees are set by Georgia Law.  The first thing you need to do before attending the Risk Reduction (DUI) Class is to come in and take the assessment.  The assessment is not a clinical evaluation and it is not a test.  The assessment is a 130-item questionnaire, based solely on your use of alcohol and drugs.  The questions are based on the curriculum used in the State mandated 20-hour class.  The combination of the assessment and class will teach you about your own involvement with alcohol and/or drugs, your behavior patterns and tolerance levels.  The assessment usually takes about 30 to 40 minutes to complete.  After completing the assessment you will be able to enroll into the class.

The Risk Reduction (DUI) Class is the State mandated 20-hour class, consisting of only 2-1/2 days.

The Assessment is $82.00 and the Class Fee is $210.00, these fees are mandated by Georgia Law.
